- In 2007, named a state finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a winner of the SmartCEO Future 50
- Lives in Maryland with his two college-aged children, where he enjoys binge-watching TV, going to concerts and sporting events, and taking long walks with his rescue dog, Tucker.
