  • Our obligations as a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) regarding your personal financial information under applicable federal and state law (including Regulation S-P).
  • How we collect, use, and share information through our website, linrip.com, including through cookies and third-party tracking technologies.

This Policy applies to visitors to linrip.com and to our clients. If you are a California resident, additional rights and disclosures applicable to you are described in Section 8.

As a Registered Investment Adviser, LRI Investments, LLC is required to provide you with information about how we collect, use, and protect your nonpublic personal information.

4c. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain physical, procedural, and electronic security measures to safeguard your nonpublic personal information. These include secure passwords, encrypted file storage, a secure office environment, and vendor security requirements. Our associates are trained on their obligations to protect client data.

5. Data Retention

We retain client financial records for the periods required by applicable law and regulation, including SEC recordkeeping requirements. Website analytics and usage data is retained in accordance with the retention policies of our service providers (typically 26 months for Google Analytics by default, though this can be configured).

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or as required by law.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our website contains links to third-party websites including client portals (such as Investor Login and Planning and Vault), FINRA BrokerCheck, and our LinkedIn page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

8. California Residents – Additional Rights

If your mailing address is in California, you have additional rights under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).

8a. Your California Rights

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and share it.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. However, if you believe we are selling your data, you have the right to opt out.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.

8b. Notice Regarding Website Tracking Under CIPA

California law treats certain forms of online tracking as potentially implicating wiretapping and eavesdropping statutes (California Penal Code §§ 631, 632, and 638.51). To the extent any third-party analytics, advertising, or session-recording technologies operate on our site, we disclose that:

  • Such technologies may collect information about your interactions with this website in real time.
  • Third-party service providers may receive this data simultaneously with us.
  • You may prevent this collection by declining non-essential cookies via the cookie preference banner.

We do not use session replay tools that capture keystrokes or free-form text input. We do not use live chat tools that intercept communications in real time.

8c. Shine the Light

California residents may request information once per year about personal information shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for third-party direct marketing purposes, so no disclosure is required under this provision.

8d. Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) signals. You may use the cookie preference banner to limit non-essential tracking.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will send existing clients a revised Policy whenever material changes are made to our RIA privacy practices. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page whenever changes are made. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
